When you use KrowtenIQ, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, and financial account credentials linked through Plaid.

We also collect usage data such as pages visited, features used, and device information to improve our services.

How We Use Your Information

• To send notifications about your budgets, goals, and account activity
• To improve and maintain our platform
• To communicate with you about your account and our services

Data Protection

All personal identifiable information (PII) is masked before being processed by AI models. Account numbers, Social Security numbers, and other sensitive data are never sent to third-party language models.

Financial data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use bank-level TLS encryption for all connections and encrypt sensitive tokens stored in our database.

Third-Party Services

We use Plaid to securely connect to your financial institutions. Plaid's use of your data is governed by their own privacy policy. We also use Supabase for authentication and data storage, and Anthropic and OpenAI for AI-powered analysis (with PII masking applied).

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
